How much elderberry should I take?
How much and how often should I take elderberry?
Elderberries offer excellent nutrition that contains antioxidants and vitamin C, which can boost the immune system among other benefits. Furthermore, clinical studies have shown that elderberry is also an effective anti-viral. Properties from the elderberry essentially attach to viruses and prevent them from multiplying. Keeping elderberry on hand and taking it before and during sickness can make the world of difference. After all, according to one study, 95% of people who took elderberry at the first sign of sickness saw noticeable improvement and shortened sick time compared to those who did not take the elderberry. Not only is elderberry effective, it is cheaper than a doctors visit too.
The amount of elderberry you take and the the frequency you take it can depend on person to person. However, there are benefits to taking it more frequently during certain times.
Can elderberry be taken year round?
Yes! The benefits of elderberry do not stop with the cold and flu. Elderberry is a great anti-inflammatory, helps soothes allergies, improves digestion, regulates blood sugars and more. Studies have shown that there are side effects to taking elderberry long term.
I am healthy and feel fine. Should I still take my elderberry?
There are benefits to taking elderberry even when not sick. Studies have shown that those who take elderberry before they are sick are less likely to get sick. If you are exposed and get sick, those who took elderberry leading up to the exposure experience less adverse symptoms and a shorter sick time than those who do not take elderberry.
We recommend taking daily 1x daily. During peak sick season times, we recommend taking it both morning and night for full effects.
I am starting to feel sick. How often can I take elderberry?
Elderberry up! When sick, we recommend taking elderberry every 3-4 hours until symptoms disappear. Good news, elderberry is actually an immune modulator and not an immune booster. This means, it knows how to bring your immune system to peak performance but will not put it in overdrive. Because of this and all the vitamins being water soluble, you can’t overdose on elderberry.
There has been a notable difference when comparing the frequency you take elderberry compared to the amount. For example, you will benefit more from taking 1 tablespoon of elderberry 2x daily than you would simply taking 2 tablespoons at once.
What is the recommended dosage for Elderberry Boost?

Elderberry Boost is not watered down and highly potent. It has also been found to be very effective. Other elderberry products and brands may recommend taking a larger dosage at once because of less potency.

I’ve been ordering since end of October. My husband, daughter and I have been using 1 tablespoon morning and night. When my daughter had it cold, she didn’t get her normal annoying, every 20 second cough and it shortened the cold! The taste is great, as if Christmas had a flavor this would be it! Lol. Customer service is amazing and they respond super fast. If you’re thinking of buying, quit thinking and just do so! You won’t regret! ❤️
Thank you for all of your information! I ordered my first 3 jars in December. I was very impressed with how quickly you responded to my email, and also by returning my phone call. Great product and awesome customer service!👍👏👏💜💙
